How do I book a NIN appointment in London?
Book online through our appointment calendar, send us a WhatsApp message, or call +44 7438 533265. Pick a time between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday. Your appointment is at our office at 530–532 Kingsland Road, Dalston, London E8 4AH, not at the Nigeria High Commission.
Choose your appointment time
The online calendar shows the times currently available. You will get a confirmation by email.
Please note: Dicksons World Services is a private NIN enrolment centre. This booking is for an appointment at our Dalston office. It is not a Nigeria High Commission or Embassy appointment.
What can I book?
- Adult NIN enrolment – new NIN registration for anyone 18 or over.
- Child NIN enrolment – for children under 16, who must attend with a parent or guardian. Read child NIN registration first.
- Family appointments – several people at once. Tell us how many adults and children are coming.
- NIN update or correction help – see NIN updates to check whether your change is handled at a centre.
- BVN enrolment or BVN update – see BVN registration in the UK.
What should I bring to my NIN appointment?
Bring your Nigerian passport (valid or expired), your NPC birth attestation or foreign birth notification with its digitised certificate number, your NIMC pre-enrolment reference, and a debit or credit card for the fees. For a child, also bring one parent's Nigerian passport and NIN, and bring the child.
Printed or digital copies are both fine. If an affidavit applies to you, bring that too. The full list is on our requirements page, and there is a quick version in our what to bring checklist.
How much will I pay at the appointment?
Adult enrolment is £95.00 in total and child enrolment is £80.00. The NIMC part of the fee is paid by card before enrolment begins. The NPC attestation ($80.00) should already be paid to the NPC before you come. See the NIN fees page for the breakdown.
What happens at the appointment?
- Check-in and document check. We look at your passport, NPC certificate number and pre-enrolment reference, and confirm your details match.
- Payment. The NIMC enrolment fee and our centre fee are paid.
- Data confirmation. We go through your details with you. Check the spelling of your names and your date of birth carefully at this point, because corrections later are slower and some are limited.
- Biometric capture. We take your photograph, fingerprints and signature.
- Enrolment slip. You leave with a slip showing your transaction ID. Keep it safe.
Allow enough time for your appointment, and more if you are enrolling several family members.
Before you book: five quick checks
- Do you already have a NIN? If you enrolled before, even years ago, you may need retrieval rather than a new appointment.
- Is your NPC record done? You need the digitised certificate number before you can enrol.
- Have you completed pre-enrolment? Keep the reference number.
- Do your names match? Compare your passport and NPC record. If they differ, message us first.
- Who is coming? Count adults and children so we can allow the right amount of time.
Choosing the right appointment
| Your situation | What to book | Read first |
|---|---|---|
| Adult, never had a NIN | Adult NIN enrolment | Requirements |
| Child under 16 | Child NIN enrolment (with parent) | Child NIN |
| Parent and child, neither has a NIN | Family appointment: parent first, then child | Adults vs children |
| Have a NIN, details wrong | NIN update help | NIN updates |
| Lost your NIN | Usually no appointment needed: message us first | Retrieve NIN |
| Need a BVN | BVN enrolment or update | BVN registration |
Bringing children
Children must be present for their own enrolment and must come with a parent or legal guardian. The parent's NIN is part of the child's record, so the accompanying parent should bring their Nigerian passport and NIN. If you have young children, bringing something to keep them busy helps while documents are checked.

Common mistakes to avoid before your appointment
The most common problems are coming without the NPC certificate number, not completing pre-enrolment, and names that do not match across documents. Our guide to mistakes to avoid before your NIN enrolment appointment explains how to sort each one out before the day.
NIN appointments: frequently asked questions
Can I walk in without an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome when there is space, but booking is the only way to be sure of a time slot.
Is this an appointment at the Nigerian Embassy or High Commission?
No. It is an appointment at our NIN enrolment centre in Dalston, London. We are a private business, not part of the Nigeria High Commission.
How do I change or cancel my appointment?
Use the link in your booking confirmation email, or message us on WhatsApp or call +44 7438 533265 and we will move it for you.
Can someone else attend on my behalf?
No. NIN enrolment captures your own fingerprints, photograph and signature, so each person being enrolled must attend in person.
Do you take appointments on Sundays?
No. Appointments are available Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
What if my NPC attestation is not ready by my appointment date?
Move your appointment. Enrolment cannot go ahead without the NPC digitised certificate number. Message us on WhatsApp and we will rebook you.
How long should I allow for the appointment?
It depends on how many people are enrolling and whether your documents are complete. Arrive 10–15 minutes early and allow extra time for families.
