At Dicksons World Services we capture your details and biometrics for NIN registration in the UK using the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) enrolment process, so you do not need to travel to Nigeria.

Before visiting Dicksons World Services for your National Identification Number (NIN) enrolment, please make sure you have:

Birth Attestation / Notification / Registration from the
National Population Commission (NPC), as applicable:
- Adult (18+) – Birth Attestation
- Child born in Nigeria – Birth Registration
- Child born abroad – Foreign Birth Notification

Passport:
Adults – valid or expired Nigerian passport accepted.
Children (below 16) – NIN of one parent + the child's birth certificate + one parent's Nigerian passport. - Pre-Enrolment Reference: Complete the NIMC pre-enrolment online and bring your reference number to your appointment.
- BVN Number: If you have one, bring it. If you have not registered for BVN yet, you can still enrol for NIN.
- Fees & Payment: Bring a valid debit or credit card for the NIMC payment, which is made before enrolment begins.
- NPC Digitised Certificate: A valid NPC digitised certificate number is required. You get it with your birth attestation, birth notification or certificate reissue at nationalpopulation.gov.ng.

How can I register for a NIN while living in the UK?
Book an appointment at Dicksons World Services in Dalston, London (E8 4AH), complete your NPC birth attestation and NIMC pre-enrolment, and bring your Nigerian passport. Do I need a BVN before I can apply for my NIN?
No. You can enrol for your NIN without a BVN. If you already have a BVN, bring the number along. Read more about the difference between NIN and BVN.
What documents do I need to bring to my appointment?
Adults need a valid or expired Nigerian passport, an NPC birth attestation (with its digitised certificate number) and a NIMC pre-enrolment reference. Children need their NPC birth registration or foreign birth notification, plus one parent's Nigerian passport and NIN. Payment is by card. See the full requirements.
How long does it take to receive my NIN after enrolment?
You receive an enrolment slip with a transaction ID at the end of your appointment. NIMC then processes the record. Many of our clients get their NIN within a few working days, but timing is set by NIMC and can take longer, so we cannot guarantee a date.
Can children be enrolled for NIN at your UK office?
Yes. For children under 16, bring the child's NPC birth record, one parent's Nigerian passport and NIN, and the child must attend in person with a parent or guardian. See child NIN registration.
How much does NIN registration cost in the UK?
At our London centre, adult NIN enrolment costs £95.00 in total and child enrolment costs £80.00 (NIMC fee plus centre fee). The NPC birth attestation ($80.00) is paid separately to the NPC. See the fee breakdown.
