Who we are
Dicksons World Services is a private business based at 530–532 Kingsland Road, Dalston, London E8 4AH. For more than five years we have helped Nigerians living in the UK with their National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN), alongside everyday office services such as printing, photocopying and DHL Express shipping.
Most people who contact us have a deadline: a Nigerian passport to renew, a bank account that needs verifying, or a child who needs a NIN. Our job is to make the identity part simple, explain exactly what is needed and get the enrolment done properly the first time.
What we do
- NIN registration in the UK for adults
- Child NIN registration with a parent or guardian
- Help with NIN updates and corrections
- Help to retrieve a lost NIN
- BVN enrolment and BVN updates, in person
- Printing, photocopying and passport photos, and DHL Express shipping
Who we help
- Adults born in Nigeria who left before NIN enrolment was widespread.
- UK-born adults with Nigerian parents who need a Nigerian passport.
- Parents enrolling children ahead of a passport application or a move to Nigeria.
- People with NIN problems, such as a lost NIN, wrong details, or a NIN that never arrived.
- Nigerians who need a BVN, or a BVN update, to bank in Nigeria from the UK.
How we work
Clear requirements before you travel
Most failed appointments come down to missing documents. We publish our requirements and fees openly and are happy to check your documents by WhatsApp before you book.
Honest about what we can and cannot do
Your NIN is issued by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), not by us. We cannot guarantee how quickly NIMC processes a record, and some changes to a NIN can only be made by NIMC itself. When that is the case, we tell you.
Appointments that respect your time
You can book a set time online, Monday to Saturday, so you are not left waiting. Walk-ins are welcome when there is space.
Our guides
We write plain-English guides to the questions we are asked every day, from how to register for NIN in the UK to the difference between NIN and BVN. Where official rules apply, we link to the official source: NIMC, the National Population Commission, the Nigeria Immigration Service or NIBSS. See all our NIN and BVN guides.
Important: we are not a government agency
Dicksons World Services is a private business. We are not NIMC, the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Nigeria High Commission, the Central Bank of Nigeria or NIBSS. Official fees that go to NIMC and the National Population Commission are shown separately from our own centre fee on our fees page.
